Armenian
as a Second Language The Armenian as a Second Language (ASL) program is for students who need special attention in the Armenian language and is offered for a maximum of two years. After completion of the ASL program, students are placed in their respective grade-level Armenian class. Our
extensive and demanding four-year ASL program taught in Grades 9-12
corresponds to the first four-year foreign language program taught at
other high school levels. Concurrent
Enrollment Upon
approval of the Academic Advisor and upon completion of the necessary
forms, students in grades 9-12 may attend other high schools and/or
colleges when the following conditions exist:
-To repeat a failing course
-To make up credit deficiencies and/or complete college admission
requirements
-To take courses for college

Courses Offered Through Pierce College The Los Angeles Pierce College has chosen Ferrahian School as a satellite site to offer evening college courses. Classroom regulations and grading policies are set by Pierce College. The following courses are offered in conjunction with Pierce College: Fall semester -Psychology 1 -Anthropology 104 / Linguistics 1 Spring Semester -Art 101 -Sociology 1 These courses are selected from College General Breadth requirements and are CSU and UC transferable. |
