MISCELLANEOUS EXPENSES
Payment of the following miscellaneous
expenses is the responsibility of the parents.
Parents must budget for expenses as follows:
Textbooks
Students have the option to purchase
their textbooks from the school bookstore or from other sources.
The bookstore stocks textbooks for Grades K-12 and the estimated
expenses are as follow:

Pictures and Photographs
The estimated cost to obtain student
I.D., yearbook, and graduation photographs is $15 -$30 per student.
Emergency Supplies
New students pay a one-time $25 fee for emergency supplies that are stored
in designated areas for emergency use.
The school replenishes the emergency supplies in subsequent years.
Lockers
Lockers are provided to 6th through 12th grade students at an annual fee
of $20. The Security Guard assigns the lockers and collects the fees
from students.
Lunch
A balanced lunch is served every noon.
The menu consists of a main dish, rice or salad, whole fruit, juice
or milk. The cost of each
serving of lunch is $2.00 and for additional 50¢, students may buy
quality juice.
Note:
Sodas containing caffeine and snacks high in sugar content are not
sold on campus and we do not encourage students packing such items as
well."
Snacks
A variety of snacks is available during
morning and afternoon recesses. The
snacks consist of bagels, toast and cheese, burritos, chocolate bars, ice
cream, etc. The cost varies between $1.00 and $2.00.
Field Trips
Transportation and related expenses vary based on the type of activity.
Payment of all expenses must be made one week before the scheduled
time of the activity.
Parking Permits
Parking permits are available for
students Grades 11 and 12 at $30 a year.
The Security Officer issues the parking permits and collects the
fees.
Elementary After School Programs
-
Fine Arts: After school, extracurricular fine arts classes --
dance, music, drawing, etc., are available for students K-4 from 3:00 to
4:30 p.m., five sessions per week. The
cost is $50 a month.

Daycare: Extended daycare is available for students K-4.
The hours are 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at $50 a month.
Additional care time is available from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. for an
additional monthly fee of $50
Extracurricular Activities - High
School

extracurricular activities and related expenses, please refer to the
“Extracurricular Programs” section of this Handbook.
Sports Activities
Sports-related expenses, such as participation fee, uniforms and gears
necessary to participate in the school basketball/volleyball teams and the
KAHAM (interscholastic Armenian games sponsored by Homenetmen) games, must
be paid directly to the school Armens Sports Committee.
Participation fees are as follows:
- Grades
1-8: $15 per month, per
sport, for approximately 6 months
- Grades
9-12: transportation
and/or lodging expenses only

Uniforms and PE Outfits
Students
from Kindergarten through 12th grade must be in uniform during school
session. During PE classes, students must be in PE uniform.
