Upon finding out that the City of Carson in California is planning on a statue for Turkish Republic founder, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Ferrahian High School CSF club officers organized an e-mail campaign to the Carson City Hall. The students expressed their disapproval of this dishonorable undertaking.

History has witnessed that Ataturk’s crimes violated international human rights laws and he has been regarded as the equivalent of Hitler. The erection of this memorial must. It is an insult to the 1.5 million Armenians massacred in 1915-1923 time period.
